Dr. Huang introduced a novel framework that integrates Meta-Task Awareness (MTA) with TPACK to explain how teachers' knowledge is dynamically activated when collaborating with generative AI. Challenging conventional technology integration models, he highlighted that GenAI acts as an agentic partner in meaning-making, requiring a shift from tool operation to cognitive orchestration.
The talk underscored evaluation-centered task design and offered a roadmap for building teachers' epistemic agency in AI-mediated environments, contributing to sustainable pedagogical innovation.
Dr Daner Sun has demonstrated outstanding knowledge transfer impact through the strategic integration of emerging technologies and AI-driven educational solutions. She led the development of ScaffoldiaMyMaths, an AI-empowered adaptive scaffolding platform that enhances mathematics learning, fosters AI literacy and creative thinking, and has been implemented in multiple schools, directly benefiting hundreds of under-resourced students in the Greater Bay Area. On 22 and 29 November 2025, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) organised a thematic workshop series focusing on AI, Arts, and Intercultural Skills. Zhizi Zheng's research interests include learning science, AI in education, and STEM education. She recently gave a presentation titled "The Relationships of Motivation and Self-regulation to Students' Cognitive Presence and Empowerment in Online Learning Environments."
